Program name: TextNag Accountability Check-ins

Description: Recurring automated SMS conversations that check in on goals you set, at times you choose, plus a weekly summary.

Message frequency: varies. Typically 2–4 scheduled messages per day (based on your settings), plus conversational replies when you text us.
Message & data rates may apply.
Opt-in: You opt in by entering your phone number on textnag.com and checking the consent box, then confirming by reply. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any other good or service.
Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time. You'll receive one final confirmation message and your subscription will be canceled. Replying START re-subscribes you.

Not a crisis service. TextNag is an automated coaching product, not a crisis line, and is not monitored by humans in real time. If you are in emotional distress or having thoughts of self-harm, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US) or call 911 in an emergency. If your messages indicate serious distress, TextNag may automatically pause coaching and point you to professional support.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

TERMS OF SERVICE (abridged core)

Service. TextNag provides AI-generated motivational/accountability messages. It is entertainment/productivity software — not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. If you are struggling with your mental health, please seek a qualified professional - TextNag is not a crisis service and cannot provide emergency help. In the US, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Eligibility. TextNag is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use the service. By signing up you confirm that you are at least 18.
Subscription. $9.99/month after a 7-day free trial, billed by our payment processor. Cancel anytime via STOP or your billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period.
Refund policy. If something went wrong — you were charged in error, or the service failed to deliver your check-ins — contact hello@textnag.com within 14 days of the charge and we will make it right, including a full refund where appropriate. Refunds are processed by our payment provider.
Acceptable use. Don't use TextNag to harass others or submit unlawful content. One phone number per account.
AI content. Responses are AI-generated and may occasionally be inaccurate or tonally off. The "personality" is a fictional character.
Coaching style - your choice, your risk. You pick your coach's personality during signup, including intentionally blunt or provocative styles like The Roaster. These are fictional characters performing a coaching style you selected - their teasing is designed to target your behavior and excuses, not you as a person. By choosing a persona you acknowledge its style and accept that motivational messaging affects everyone differently. If a style isn't working for you, reply SWITCH at any time to change coaches, or STOP to cancel. TextNag is not suitable as a substitute for professional support if you are struggling with your mental health.
Liability. Service provided "as is"; to the maximum extent permitted by law our liability is limited to fees paid in the last 3 months.
